1. Description

Lifting Socket with Cross Hole provide simple lifting and transporting for most kinds of precast concrete units, particularly when casting into thin concrete panels, used as fixings in architectural field.

Flat End Lifting Inserts are available in both high grade zinc plated carbon steel and 304/316 grade stainless steel.

Solid rod sockets are the preferred option for high tensile and shear loads such as fixing cladding panels.

Heavy Duty Lifting Socket with Cross Hole for high tensile and shear loads. Widely used in the application of precast concrete construction, such as lifting beams, wall and floor slabs etc.A Reinforcement bar is to be inserted through the cross hole to transfer the load into the concrete.

All installation instructions of lifting socket with cross hole are based on concrete safety factors of two times the axial load rating at a concrete strength of 15N/mm2 at the time of first lift. All products are rigorously tested, inspected and are supplied with safe working instructions where applicable. 

Flat End and Cylindrical Lifting Sockets can be used in conjunction with Plastic Nailing Plates or Magnetic Holding Plates to provide a recess that can be made good on site. Plastic Stopper Caps are also available to protect threads from weathering and ingress of dirt or foreign matter that can prevent the threads from engaging completely down the length of the socket. The anchors designed are for axial and angled lifts of β ≤ 90º.
